After nearly two weeks of war, the Biden administration has decided to ban Russian oil and gas imports.
A recent Quinnipiac University poll found that 71 percent of voters favor a ban on the use of Russian oil even if it meant higher gasoline prices in the United States. The ban had bipartisan support with more than 82 percent Democrats, 66 percent Republicans, and 70 percent independents supporting a ban on Russian oil.
This survey revealed that more than 60 percent of Americans believe Vladimir Putin is mentally unstable. On the other hand, only 21 percent believe that he is mentally stable.
In addition, 56 percent of voters say that punishments on Russia in general have not been tough enough. Of voters surveyed, 30 percent think they are just right, and 3 percent say they are too harsh.
There is broad support, 79 percent, for the United States responding if a NATO country is attacked.
Also, 78 percent of voters support refugees coming to the United States.
