An American Majority Project poll showed that voters narrowly prefer that America remain a “melting pot” with a common culture and shared set of values, rather than an America comprised of distinct cultures and values for different groups (sometimes referred to as a “salad bowl.” This includes 65% of Hispanic swing voters.
