More than 7-in-10 Americans (72%) say they couldn’t get a similar deal as Hunter Biden if they failed to report more than $3 million in income to the IRS and illegally purchased a firearm while using illegal drugs.

WHY IT MATTERS – The perception that Hunter Biden got a sweetheart deal exposes President Joe Biden to accusations of corruption.
- It could also lead people to be more willing to believe that the Biden Justice Department’s case against former President Donald Trump is politically motivated.
BIPARTISAN SKEPTICISM – The June 22-25, 2023, poll by America’s New Majority Project, conducted by McLaughlin and Associates, asked voters:
