Deliberate Strategy
- 46% of Americans say the situation at the border is being done deliberately to serve political and corporate interests, compared to 39% who say it is due to government incompetence. This is a reversal from one year ago, when 37% said it was being done deliberately and 43% said it was due to incompetence.
- 44% of Republicans, 50% of Democrats, and 46% of swing voters say the situation at the border is being done deliberately. This is an increase of 7%, 10% and 13% respectively.
- 53% of Left Minority voters say the border crisis is deliberate and 26% say it is incompetence. New Majority voters are divided.
Wanted: Illegal Votes
- 50% of Americans agree that Biden and the Democrats are deliberately allowing illegal immigrants into the country in hopes they will vote for Democrats. This includes 79% of Republicans, 21% of Democrats and 50% of swing voters.
- 55% of Gen Z voters agree, which is striking considering the age group skews Democrat.
- 66% of New Majority voters agree, including a plurality of those undecided for Congress. Just 15% of Left Minority voters agree.
Electoral Vote Implications
- 50% of Americans agree that Biden and the Democrats are deliberately allowing illegal immigrants into the country to increase the number of people in Democratic states to gain electoral votes and seats in Congress. This includes 80% of Republicans, 24% of Democrats, and 48% of swing voters.
- 55% of Gen Z voters agree, the highest amount of any age group.
- 66% of New Majority voters agree, including a plurality of those undecided for Congress. Just 17% of Left Minority voters agree.
