Most Believe America is in State of Cultural, Economic Decline

Seventy-three percent of Americans think that the United States is currently experiencing cultural and economic decline.

Who do you believe is best equipped to reverse the state of cultural and economic decline in America?

  • 80.6 % – Everyday Americans
  • 19.4 % – Elected officials

THE BOTTOM LINE – A substantial majority of Americans view the United States as being on a downward trajectory with respect to culture and the economy. An even greater majority believes that ordinary Americans–not elected officials–will be responsible for getting the country back on track.
