A plurality of Americans say Republicans and Democrats are prioritizing the wrong things.

  • 37% of voters believe Republicans are prioritizing the right things and 36% say Democrats are prioritizing the right things.
  • Among swing voters, 31% say Republicans are prioritizing the right things and 30% say Democrats are prioritizing the right things.
  • 45% of voters in America’s New Majority say Republicans are prioritizing the right things, whereas just 23% say Democrats are prioritizing the right things.

  • 32% of voters say Republicans are more focused than Democrats on inflation, and 28% say it is the Democrats who are more focused on inflation.
  • Among swing voters, 27% say Republicans are more focused than Democrats on inflation, and 24% say it is the Democrats who are more focused on inflation.
